![]() Either none of these seeds germinated and weeds grew perfectly in the pattern I scattered the seeds in, or what was in this packet was simply weed seeds. What you see are weeds that look just like the weeds others have posted photos of that grew from these packets. Shown in the photo is the giant batch of weeds that grew where I pl anted these creeping thyme seeds around flagstones. I have a small greenhouse in my backyard I've used to populate my yard with other plants, so I know a thing or two about growing. ![]() I bought multiple seed packets of varying kinds from this company and not one of them yielded anything. This time I ordered soil and other seeds from other vendors, so it was convenient to add these to my cart. ![]() You can sometimes find coupon codes on their Facebook page. I love Outside Pride and usually order directly from their website. I'm just trying a six-pack at a time due to my lack of green thumb. So far so good! I didn't count either the seeds in the packet or how many I planted, so I can't comment on the germination rate. I bring them in around 5-6 pm when it starts getting cool. If it's a hot, sunny day, I move them into the shade before noon. I am putting them out in the morning sun around 8am. The seed packet says these germinate in 2-3 weeks, but here it is the morning of day 7 and I have tiny seedlings! Of the four different seeds I ordered from Outside Pride this time (Irish Moss, Creeping Thyme, Eidelweiss, Sedum), only the Irish Moss has yet to germinate. I do not have a green thumb, but that doesn't stop me from trying. Sow 500 seeds for every 10 SF of ground cover you want to plant. Many people consider this to be an elfin thyme since it is so dwarf only growing around 2 inches in height.Seeds need to stay moist continually until germination! The most common error in germination failure is planting the seeds too deep or not watering enough. ![]() This perennial groundcover plant will give you years of color. Keep seeds continually moist until germination which may mean watering several times a day for short intervals to keep seed continually moist.
